My friend Pat and I were out at Oak Point Park doing some flying. We had the drone gate setup and were just “following” each other back and forth through the gate. We could not stay close enough to each other so we ended up out of sync. We eventually found each other rather surprisingly! The video below is the slow-motion action of what it looks like to fly into each other kind of head on!
It did not do any damage to Pat’s quad but mine did sustain minor damage. It broke one of the camera screws and knocked the camera lose a little! I was able to fix all of that in a couple minutes and get back to flying. I flew 10 batteries that day and will post another blog with some of that footage as well!
I greatly enjoy this, because I was flying the other quad involved in this incident!
